I am in dire need of some cash right now, so I am opening up 10 slots to do $10 sketches. These sketches will be headshots or bust shots and are limited up to two per person, and will be sent to your email address. If you want more done, you will be put on the second wave list of $10 sketches. Depending on the success of these sketches this will help me decide to do another wave or not. My First Sketch Card Set!!!

So I was asked by Sadlittles to do 20 cards for a set coming out next year. I don't know if I am allowed to say exactly what it is I am doing, so I wont right now. But once I get the go ahead, I will let you know, and perhaps you will be able to watch me do some of these cards on my webshow, Sketchin It' w/ Ian Walker. I am sooo excited about this, and I hope that it will open the doors for me in the future to do other card sets. So we shall see!

New Blogs, and Sketch Card Sketchbook

I have two blogs that I would like you all to begin following, and showing support to. One is of my personal artwork called The Art of Ian D.Walker ----> [link]

I will be posting up pictures, and sketches, as well as videos of my work. On my personal blog, you will see more of my sketch card videos, so you don't have to go to my You Tube page all of the time to look at my videos, you can simply go to my blog and take a look!

I am also going to start putting together a sketchbook showcasing all my sketch card artwork that I have done over the past year. Some of the stuff will be stuff you have already seen, but most will be artwork you have never seen before. I am putting this book out with my name on it, but it will be coming out through my studio, Obsidian Studios. There is a name, but I can't say what that is yet until I reveal the cover to you all. I will begin work on this book starting next month.


So that is it for now, just wanted to give a sort of mid-month update on what is going on as I have had soo much go on lately. I appreciate everyones support and encouraging words as they help me keep moving forward. I also ask if you please can, purchase a sketch as that will help me out tons as well.
