DM's Rising Stars and Featured Artists - August 2009
 SpiderFreak818 aka Prodigy (Rising Star for August) This kid is amazing... I call him Prodigy because I think that this kid truly has a future in comics. You can definitely see his influences and admirers in his artwork. He has an amazing talent of adapting, and doing whatever style is deemed necessary too. But his talent for drawing identically isn't only what is great. This kid has a style all his own. Check these out...    Didn't I tell you that he was great!? What is also amazing, is that this kid is only 15 years old. He has more training to do, but you can definitely see the talent here. And in time, I would not be surprised if he was called to work alongside some of the great comic artists we know and love today. Go check out Spideys page, and show some love will ya!?  1nch aka Patrick Finch This is one of the first pieces from this guy that caught my attention. I never knew that Erin Esurance could be so sexy. Patrick has a great style mix here of traditional eastern comics, and cartoonish style. This piece along with a lot of others, display this talent without fail. Check out some other pieces...    Patrick is versatile, his colors are vibrant, and really pop out at you, making them really pleasant to look at. Go check this guy out, and encourage him to do more! Great work Mr.Finch!  Dangerous-Beauty778 aka Rhiannon Owens Now tell me that this isn't bad arse!!! This is one of the pieces that I found actually on another sketch card community site called Scoundrel Art Community. I didn't know that she had a Deviant account, and when I did, she had tons of art that I had never seen. Here are a few of her pieces...    Sweet!!! She has some amazing artwork here. I actually learned a lot from her as far as coloring and things for sketch cards are concerned. I am still learning too. Her art has been really inspirational to me, and I hope that it is for you guys as well. Go check her out when you can. I came across some great artists this month. I hope to find more exceptional works in the months to come, and will share them all with you in the hopes that you all will begin to share your support with these ones, and encourage them to keep moving forward in their craft; giving us great things to see, and providing that interchange of inspiration that we all as artists constantly need!
